Now you can reserve your Ticket using your mobiles speech recognition, GPRS and CDMA technologies, these technologies are available on various mobile operators, you can use sms facility to book your ticket, and for this you just send two sms messages to the service provider. Some of the mobile operators across the India introduce this facility.

Using your mobile you can Book your online ticket to use this facility first registered with www.irctc.co.in and opted to use the mobile reservation services.
Create at least one “Passenger List” in your registered profile with IRCTC to use the facility. The list will be used for the booking process through sms.

You should have a registered user of mobile banking service, ICICI Bank provide this facility (some other Banks will be integrated soon)

You should have the mobile connection with any one operators listed above

By sending just two messages you will be booked your ticket, using IRCTC’s code 7245

You need to Sign Up in www.irctc.co.in. Then go to profile registration and select “mobile booking” option to use all types of Mobile Booking facilities including SMS booking .Then input your mobile number, mobile operator, and preferred payment option (Right Now ICICI Bank only).For each Booking ICICI bank will be charged you Rs 10.To use this facility you need to be registered to the “Mobile Shopping Service” provided by the Bank and enter ‘mShop Name’ through SMS.
